The Modern Day Redneck family had it's best week yet. This week we had 460 visitors to the blog with 992 page loads. The blog has now reached a little over 4500 visits since December. I would like to thank everyone for their continued support and please leave some comments.
Another mile stone for the Modern Day Redneck Family is we now have an official .com. I have been working on building a web page dedicated to the new wave redneck for a few days now and finally finished it. If you get a chance, drop by and see what you think. Let me know if I let anything out. www.moderndayredneck.com
As for today;
I worked up till noon and man did it get hot quick. I know what I said about not caring how hot it got I was going to suck it up and work through it but a little past noon the temp was reaching 110 degrees.
As far as the fence goes, I got the last two posts set for the brace and now just waiting on the concrete to cure. The plan is to at least get the slick wire stretched tomorrow. The angle I took this pic makes it look like I don't know how to use a level. It looks like the post is leaning out but I promise you it is plumb.
I did get the stand built for the rain water harvest system behind the mini barn today. Now I need to run the gutter and plumb in the faucets inside the barn. I know it's not pretty but I used all old warped up lumber I couldn't use any where else.
The pile of material that was to become a beautiful rabbit hutch today is still in a pile. I hope to get to it tomorrow so I can give these three girls more room.
Oh one other thing, the crickets started hatching out this week. So now I have several hundred baby crickets that will hopefully make it to adult hood so they can be chicken feed. What a life!
