Citizenship Test

I don't know if this has been done on here before by others or not, but I was listening to AFR talk radio the other day and they were talking about how we as American Citizens have been dumb down when it comes to the knowledge of our country. Through our education system or just plain not caring, they said most US Citizens could not even score a passing grade on a Citizenship Test.

I thought not me so I went right over and took the test. This is a practice test and you can even pick how many questions you want, I picked 50. I challenge you to take it. I was really surprised how many I missed. Take it and let me know your score and then I will tell you mine.

  8. That was the same with me Robin. I did not know where some of them even came from.

I will send one in the mail Kymber.

That is what I made Phelan. I thought that since I listen to political talk radio all day I could done better.

Yea, but BYB you are still in school. You should have made that grade. LOL

tea4too0- I don't even know where you would start. Some of those questions are for the immigrants and with me not being one, I don't know them.

Congrats KingAzJay. Better than I did for sure. I only got a 75% and I have lived here my whole life. It's just like when I was failing English in School. My Dad said to me, "How can you fail English, you speak it".

Wow Scott, best yet on the 50 question test. You sir should stick your chest out and hold your head up high.

  10. I have actually helped someone study for the test at work the day before the test and was surprised how much I didn't know. I told her that she had to know more than I did. Sad but true in my case. Glad I didn't have to take the test to be an American.

I am happy to announce that she passed and is now a American Citizen.

  11. Denise - Great job. A lot better than I did.

G - I guess if we were to try and become Citizens elsewhere then we would study for that country's test and actually know more than those citizens.

My buddy Dave told me last night he took the test and ended up with 48 out of 50 right. Way to go Dave.
