The Wife: "Hey, do you remember that lady I worked with up at the store awhile back?"
Me: "Yup"
The Wife: "You remember she lives out near your dad's, way off back there?"
Me: "Yup"
The Wife: "The funny thing is, I saw on her facebook where someone had dumped a really sweet pot belly pig at her place and she can't feed it."
Me: "Oh God NO!!!!!", "Please tell me you didn't."
The Wife: "............"
Me: "You did didn't you?"
The Wife: "Yup"
Me: "................"
The wife: "Her name is Lady Bug"
With a name like Lady Bug, you don't expect a face only a mother could love.
ReplyDeleteI guess your right Mermaid because Daddy don't love her.
DeleteWell..... good for you. Personally I have never been able to like pigs. I can't think of another animal that I don't like except pigs. I think I am the only person I know that doesn't think baby pigs are cute.
ReplyDeleteCute is a overused word sista. I can't say they are cute either, but then again I don't think much of anything is cute.
DeleteRename it to "Bacon", and we have a deal.
ReplyDeleteK, I have always wondered what a pot belly pig tasted like.
DeleteI love pigs but have always thought the potbellies to be bad money going after bad..........useless! However me and hubby has gotten into trouble with not being able to say no more oft than not.........I am so over those years and now only take what we can afford and what we actually have use for... and of course what the landlord allows LOL
ReplyDeletePTRADAAT, I agree and never would have bought one, but being this one fell on us by way of the wife I I have to accept it.
DeleteMaybe you can open up a petting farm? LOL
DeleteBacon...Bacon...Bacon......Strips
ReplyDeleteSounds like the commercial, lol..
I love pot belly pigs (Japanese ones), they don't get that big. My husband had one as a house pet, a little one. Enjoy your new Lady Bug :-)
Oh joy, All it's going to be is a feed burner. sandy I don't know if it's a japanese one or not. I don't know anything about it.
DeleteHow big is lady bug?
ReplyDeleteFlier she is about 150 pounds. I don't know how big a pot belly gets. I never had one before.
DeleteLOL....LOL...LOL..I can't stop!!! I feel for you though.. I really do!!! I understand completely.
ReplyDeleteYeOldFurt
YeOldFurt, It's either laugh about it or stay pist off and cry. I chose to laugh.
DeleteGood to hear from you my friend.
You have always wondered what pot belly pig tastes like? Probably chicken ...most everything else not-the-usual-meat-choice tastes like chicken, right? Offer to find out. Meat is meat.
DeleteBut then if you suggest it, the wife might find she can, in fact, say NO. lol
~Hossboss
So good to hear from you Hossboss. It has already been told to me that eating it will not happen. The wife counted to three on that one.
DeleteThanks for stopping by.
Congratulations on your new pig!!!
