It Was Hard, But I Did It

Five days of doing nothing. It took some getting used to, but in the end I think I mastered it.

Doing nothing seams so pointless. To me it's a waste of life, but I guess we need it from time to time to survive.

  3. Hard to just do nothing, when we are so used to doing it all...but the breaks are necessary to help us keep doing the doing! :)

  4. Oh yes. After two days of picking pecans, my hand definitely needed to do nothing today.
    Have a good week!

  5. Cracks me up --- sounds like it was torture to you! Glad you survived the five days of doing nothing, after seeing all you do, I am sure it was not the most fun thing to do for you!

At least you know what it feels like now!

    1. Lana, after five minutes of being there I was bored, but I found ways to entertain myself.
      Thanks for the comment.

  6. I'll tell you what, I wish I had 5 days of nothing right now! Just too many crazy things have happened this year, between losing all my original chickens and then Miss Izzy's pygmy rattlesnake bite, it's been an adventure I could have done without. I'm tired...

    1. Izzy, What you described is why I sold out at the beginning of the summer. I just got tired of the fight.
