A glimpse into the life and times of a modern day Redneck.
Sometimes ya gotta do what cha gotta do. Lol
And I did it SFG
Hard to just do nothing, when we are so used to doing it all...but the breaks are necessary to help us keep doing the doing! :)
I agree it was needed MamaTea. Now it's back to the grind.
Oh yes. After two days of picking pecans, my hand definitely needed to do nothing today.Have a good week!
Cracks me up --- sounds like it was torture to you! Glad you survived the five days of doing nothing, after seeing all you do, I am sure it was not the most fun thing to do for you!At least you know what it feels like now!Lana
Lana, after five minutes of being there I was bored, but I found ways to entertain myself. Thanks for the comment.
I'll tell you what, I wish I had 5 days of nothing right now! Just too many crazy things have happened this year, between losing all my original chickens and then Miss Izzy's pygmy rattlesnake bite, it's been an adventure I could have done without. I'm tired...
Izzy, What you described is why I sold out at the beginning of the summer. I just got tired of the fight.
sometimes it is more healthy to run away from home and recharge your batteries while you can. besides, it will all still be there waiting when ya get back. and you will feel better about it.
It does help with the way you look at the everyday problems Anony
