Did I mention how bad I hate cutting wood?
I know and understand all the benefits of having your own heat but that does not mean I have to like it. I told the wife the other day, I would almost rather pay the high electric bills than cut and haul wood.
All because I hate it does not mean we can't do it so we have everything ready for a full weekend of it. We are even packing the baby goat Lucy so she will not be left at home and hungry.
I will share many pics tomorrow so you can feel like you were right there with us.
We call it "Family Fun Day" *sarcasm intended*

ReplyDeleteThe blessings I received today were the family and friends that I spent time with, The fact I live in a free country where I can cut my own winter heat, that my mussels are sore and reminding me I can still put in a long hard day of work, the fact the wife felt well enough to come out and help and I can't forget the blessing of the wood splitter. I would not want to do all that by hand.
